When reporting to reception, use the floor markers to maintain a distance of 2meters from staff members.


The clear plastic screens fitted to the reception area will provide additional protection from airborne spread of the virus.


Payments need to be done contactless where possible or with bank transfer. If this is not possible, then pin and card payments will be accepted but the PDQ machine will need to be disinfected after use to prevent contact transmission. Cash and cheque will ONLY be accepted if no other payment method is possible. Cash (exact amount) and cheques will need to be placed in a clear plastic bag to be accepted as a payment method.

When leaving the reception, and adhering to social distancing guidance, the front door will be unlocked by a member of the reception team.


Patients will be asked to disinfect their hands with alcohol rub before they leave the premises or in the surgery.
