Payment Policies
- For ongoing treatment, payment is due on a pay-as-you-go basis.
- We accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, cheque and bank transfers.
- Where laboratory work is concerned, at least 50% is payable at the start of treatment, with the balance due at the fit appointment.
- Exam and/or hygiene appointments which are missed or cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will attract a charge of £30 (£15 for missed children’s exams).
- Treatment appointments which are missed or cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will attract a charge of up to 50% of the total cost of the planned treatment.
- It is not always possible to accommodate late arrivals. Where treatment cannot be completed because of this, the above charges will apply.
- We can offer interest-free finance for treatments over £300, subject to application through a third-party company registered with the Financial Conduct Authority.
- Finance applications must be fully approved before treatment appointments are booked.
Guarantees
Recommended treatment (including fillings, crowns, bridges, and veneers) , completed at our practice will be guaranteed for two years.
Our guarantee will be subject to your attendance at routine examinations, reviews, or other maintenance appointments, such as oral hygiene appointments, as recommended by your Dentist. You must also protect your teeth with an approved gum shield whilst playing any contact sports.
What our guarantees do not cover:
This excludes:
- Treatment not recommended by your dentist
- Where completed restorations were not the treatment of choice by the dentist.
- Any damage caused by trauma or accident.
- Damage caused whilst training for or participating in contact sports, unless a professionally-made sports mouthguard was worn
- Damage caused by mouth jewellery (e.g. lip piercings, tongue studs, etc.)
- Damage caused by biting or chewing non-food items/foreign bodies (e.g. pens, nails, etc.)
- Self-inflicted dental injury
- Plan members where any monthly payments are outstanding
- Poor attendance and not following recommended guidance
